The raw material
ABS 750 SW, used by Poliplast, is a high-quality polymer that combines excellent aesthetic results with ease of processing.
Ideal for complex shapes
Thanks to its excellent flow properties, it is ideal for complex shapes such as handles, helping to prevent surface defects.
Excellent dimensional stability
The low shrinkage ensures the dimensional stability essential for precise fits with screws and inserts.
Impact- and wear-resistant
It ensures an excellent finish, resistance to everyday scratches and maximum resistance to skin oils and cleaning products.
Extremely durable
Structurally, this ABS is extremely durable. The daily tensile stresses caused by opening the doors do not cause any sagging. Furthermore, its remarkable dimensional stability ensures that the screw holes do not become loose over the years.
Lacquered
At Poliplast, high-quality polyurethane paints are used to lacquer the accessories. The polyurethane paints create a micro-aggression on the surface of the ABS. This results in a molecular-level bond between the paint and the substrate, ensuring exceptional chemical and mechanical adhesion.

The paints used by Poliplast contain UV filters that prevent the photodegradation of ABS, ensuring the long-term colour stability and aesthetic appeal of the applied colour.
Chemical and mechanical resistance
The varnish seals the pores in the ABS. It provides a high-performance chemical barrier against skin lipids (sebum, sweat) and household cleaning products. Furthermore, the varnish has excellent abrasion resistance, preventing the formation of micro-scratches.
BPA-free paints
Poliplast uses paints that are free from bisphenol A (BPA), a chemical compound that is particularly hazardous when released into food and drink.

Metal inserts integrated into the ABS
The hot-pressing of the brass inserts causes the ABS to melt locally, ensuring optimal anchoring, whilst the metal nuts are positioned in dedicated recesses. This structural integration between metal and polymer completely eliminates the risk of failure or deformation over time.

Meticulous quality control ensures compliance with a rigorous production process, which covers every stage: from the processing of raw materials to the creation of moulds, right through to the painting and packaging processes.
Service
The Poliplast service is underpinned by the careful packaging of items, combined with virtually immediate availability of products thanks to a fully automated 2,500 square metre warehouse. A modern, refurbished in-house showroom also offers customers the chance to view and handle all Poliplast products and finishes.
